“All clients deserve best service at all times, regardless of the size of the business or the size of the project” Ara Martirossian, MD of Red IT Business and IT Consultants and Vice President of SESCA (South East Society for Chartered Accountants) About the Company Red IT Solutions Limited (Business & IT Consultants) www.red-it.co.uk was formed in 1999, creating one of the very few IT business consultants who have full accreditation from Sage, SAP, Cognos and the Microsoft Partnership. Operating from its base on the South Coast of England, the company has worked on projects across the UK and Europe in industries as diverse as cosmetic manufacturers, fresh meat sellers and book publishers to oil suppliers and government organisations. Although one of its main strengths is complex integration projects, Red IT has never lost focus on providing the best in customer care, regardless of the size of the project. This has enabled it to retain a top class reputation with all its clients, from small start-ups to major utilities as well as those in the IT and related industries. Red IT works with clients with needs ranging from simple upgrades to large and complicated complete system overhauls. Our Approach Ara Martirossian, MD, has always insisted that the consultative process is the priority, the product comes later. Only once the needs of the client and the problems it has encountered are completely understood will a solution be recommended. We do not adhere to the idea of being targeted to sell a certain number of products in a certain range. We never ‘crowbar’ in an inappropriate package so we can achieve ‘top seller’ awards. We focus on what will work best for the client, be that the powerful Sage Line 1000 solution, the highly scaleable SAP Business One package to the simple but very effective Sage Line 50 range. About Ara Martirossian ACA, Vice President of SESCA Although Ara has spent the last fifteen years in the IT industry, managing his own extremely successful IT and business consultancy since 1999, he actually ‘cut his teeth’ in the world of accountancy. Joining Price Waterhouse as a Physics Graduate from Imperial College, London, he quickly qualified as a Chartered Accountant, forging a highly successful accounting career before moving into Management Consultancy. During the early 1990’s, Ara worked on a number of projects, building his skills to include international sales and technical services. These projects included the implementation of IT systems for a number of major corporations as well as small to medium size businesses located in the UK, Europe and the Americas to India, Asia and the Middle East. By the mid 1990’s, Ara was working as a highly respected IT and Business Consultant with clients such as Castrol Oil, Alcatel and the DSS. All too often during this time, he had seen junior IT consultants straight from college thrown into projects that required experience and relevant industry knowledge. He saw clients effectively put into one great ‘melting pot’ with the big ones at the top getting the better priority service with the ‘little guys’ squashed at the bottom. Ara’s mantra was always that clients, regardless of size of project, deserved the best of service and so, disillusioned with what was then available, Red IT Solutions Limited (Business & IT Consultants) www.red-it.co.uk was formed to provide that better level of service. Ara and his business partner, Chris Banwell, quickly gained a formidable reputation for excellence, gaining accreditation to supply Sage, SAP, Cognos and Microsoft solutions. With consultants based along the South Coast from Eastbourne to Southampton, Red IT continues to supply clients of all shapes, sizes and industries with top level service, products and solutions. In June 2007, Ara was delighted to be made Vice President of SESCA (South Eastern Society of Chartered Accountants). His experience within such a wide range of industries and his chartered accountancy background will enable him to share a significant knowledge base with members. As ever, service to members will be his priority, as well as helping them deliver the best service to their clients. Ara is also a member of the ICAEW IT Faculty Technical Committee www.icaew.com which discusses and works on how IT is used in UK companies. Ara believes that we should all take responsibility for our environmental impact. He is the IT Director for REIGA www.reiga.org.uk who are focussed on providing services based on renewable energies. |
